Reference processing errors for recent reference deposits

We've had some recent issues processing reference deposits on our end - a large number of reference processing failures happened yesterday (10/25) prior to 9PM EST. These errors will appear in your logs with the message 'Error processing references'.  This means that, while the rest of the deposit (item-level metadata and DOIs) have been processed, the references themselves have not - we haven't matched them against items in our database, and they won't be included in cited-by matches.

If you've deposited references recently, please review your logs carefully - any submissions with the ' 'Error processing references' error should be resubmitted.
