Some of our query interfaces require registration so that we may monitor individual usage. These interfaces are free for non-commercial use. These interfaces are:
- SimpleText Query
- OpenURL
- HTTP Querying (XML API)
Members, Libraries and Affiliates may use these interfaces with their previously supplied system account credentials. If you are not a Crossref member with account credentials, you may register for an account here. For interfaces that require a key (or 'pid') the email address used during registration is your key.
